Here we have a 65 Mustang Fastback 2+2 project car! In 1965, ne of thethree body styles that Ford offered was the fastback or sports roof version. These popular mustangs were badged with the 2+2 emblem which signified two passengers in the front seat andtwopassengers in the rear seat. These cars were equipped with a specially designed rear seating compartment that folded down to streamlined the interior with the same carpet effect as as the rest of the interior. Nice body lines andplenty of interior room, his became a signature piece of the sporty Mustang line even being offered in the 289 HiPo versions for the GT 350 Shelby's. At the request of long time friend Rochelle McNeal widow of Bob McNeal founder of Mustang Village offers this uniqueclassic caras an unfinished restoration. We gladly offered toassist her in the November 14th Mustang Village auction to sell off of all their cars, arts, nd equipment as she closes of their business after the passing of her husband the owner operator of mustang village located in Pensacola Florida for the past 30 plus years.
