It has been off the road and in climate controlled storage in California since 1971. I purchased this car and a 1957 Chevy convertible. 1940 Ford Deluxe convertible. a 1929 Roadster. and a bunch of other parts from the estate of two elderly brothers that had been collecting Early Ford stuff for over 60 years. This 46 is the best car that I got. The patina on it is awesome and I would not change a thing about it. The car is simply the most solid. rust free original car you will find. Lifelong California car. The body is excellent and very straight. The floorboards. frame. and trunk are rock solid. The paint is very old. obviously. but I would leave it like it sits. Everybody loves this thing. It has the original Flathead that. after a mild tune-up. runs beautifully. We went through the fuel system and re-did the brakes. The tires are extremely old and should be replaced. The car is very complete. All the top assembly is there but it needs canvas. I have both California black and yellow license plates. Three speed manual transmission. This is just a really neat old car that you don't see everyday. Restore it. Hot Rod it. or just throw your surfboard in and cruise. You won't find a more solid. original car. I can help with transportation either getting it loaded on a truck or having it transported to the ports in the Los Angeles area at the buyers expense. Inspections are encouraged. $1000 non refundable deposit due at auction end and remaining balance due within three working days.
