I know buying something over the internet can be scary and I want to make it as comfortable for you as possible. I will do my best to give an accurate description of the vehicle. I will add 100 pictures to the listing. and will post at least one video of the vehicle running and driving. My goal is to sell the vehicle. make a profit and be able to go to sleep at night with a clean conscious! (see my feedback) My Name is Bernard and my cell is 770-899-4456. I own Dixie Auto Sales. Here we have an extra clean. for its age. 1963 Ford F100 with a 292 Y block V8. 3 speed manual transmission column shift and a 9" rear axle with a 3:89 gear ratio. The previous owner has done a complete mechanical restoration of the truck. They had performed the following - New carburetor. New brakes. front and rear. replacing all the shoes. hardware. hoses. wheel cylinders. and master cylinder. New timing chain. water pump. and hoses. New shocks front and rear. New tie rods. New tires. New exhaust. New tune up. spark plugs. cap. rotor. and wires. The truck cranks right up instantly. I’ve never seen one start so fast. even when its cold and cold outside! The engine runs great. smooth. and quiet. it has plenty of pull. it does NOT smoke or have blow-by. There are no noticeable oil leaks. the oil pan looks clean. as does the transmission and rear axle. (The transmission does look to have a light coat of oil on it but does not drip). The shifter has a little play in it but shifts smooth and you can find the gears easily. The clutch has also been replaced and is new. The clutch inspection plate is included but not mounted to the transmission and the bolts are missing. so in order for you to bolt it on you would have to get some bolts for it. The radiator has been re-cored and the truck runs cool and does not overheat. All the lights. brake lights. dash lights. turn signals work! The heat and heater fan work as they should in all settings. The windows roll up and down. the doors open and close. all the handles work as they should. The paint is peeling. there is a dent that has been poorly repaired on the pass side door (see pics). it goes from the rear of the door into the cab. It's not bad and would be an easy fix for an experienced body man. The floors on the pass side have some pin-hole rust spots. the front edge of the hood has them also and the very front panel of the bed (see pics). There is rust in the bed corners behind the rear bumper (see pics). aside from those areas the truck looks solid. The frame has surface rust but no pitting or major rust spots. the floors from under the truck look to have been coated with under coating or mud. its hard to say but don’t look rusty (the pics make it look worse then it is. the crack in the pics are actually undercoating or some sort of cement or mud falling off the bottom of the floors and are all coated in red Georgia clay). The seat is original and has never been reupholstered (pretty cool) but has a burn hole in the drivers side that has gotten to be as big as a tennis ball (see pic). Overall a pretty decent and solid truck! This vehicle is being sold with a Form T-7 "Georgia bill of sale" only. and will not inclde a title. In the state of Georgia. titles are optional on 1985 and older vehicles. You can check on line the Georgia state legislation on non-titled vehicles and if you are in a state that requires a title it should be no problem to have the vehicle titled in your state. you can also call your local DMV to verify this. I will have the bill of sale notarized. and have a form T-22B Vin inspection filled out by a local law enforcement officer to prove it is not stolen. If you are planning to export outside of the USA you may want to check with US Customs first before BIDDING on the truck. This will be a low reserve auction and all sales are final. The winning bidder gets the truck! Good luck and Happy Bidding!!! If you have any questions about this or any of my other auctions please feel free to contact me via e-mail or you can call me at (770) 899-4456.
