almost tears in my eyes this morning.....this one is a member of the family :) !961 ford econoline Has a 170 removed from a 1964 falcon, hree speed on the tree. 4 years ago I bought this van and went through basically everything mechanical, ll bearings/bushings/rubber, ingpins etc were replaced, as tank was cleaned and sealed. engine runs great so I never got into it, lthough I did replace all of the bolt ons (oil pump, ater pump, xhaust etc.... the body had original paint with some surface rust, lus a few fairly rough patches over old dents and whatnot, o I sanded it all and used a tie-coat and flat clear on it. Still has a little body damage here and there, few small dents and the lower door hinge on the passenger side is bent, ut door still works. Could use door seals and window rubbers all around, nd I haven't been able to find the correct speedometer drive gear to make that work. Ive been driving this van several times a week to work, nd have made a couple of 4 to 500 mile trips with no issue. there's the bad now lets hear the good!
