Description for Ford Mustang 1993

1993 Cobra with 93,000 miles. Very nice original condition. Clean Carfax report. I am the 4th owner. At one point the car was a daily driver, ut has spent much of it's later years being stored.

This particular Cobra originally came with the following options:
Red gray
Leather
Cassette
Sunroof
The only part of the car that does not currently work is the drivers seat lower lumbar. The compressor, alve and switch all seem to work but the bladder has ruptured.

Mechanical
The car is mechanically very sound and drives great. Fires right up every time, as an Optima red top battery. AC blows cold. Heater core and associated hoses have recently been replaced. No overheating issues (even on 115 degree days here). Clutch is a heavy duty unit -sorry I do not know the specific model. The smog pump is present and hooked up but is not currently being driven by the drive belt. As it is a collector car my state does not require it to pass emissions so I chose to leave it as is. The Cobra has the normal slight oil leak for a car of this age. Almost new tires. All switches & amp gauges work and no check engine or airbag lights/codes are present. All the exterior and interior lights (including illuminated visors) are in working condition.
One thing to note on the transmission - from a dead stop it can intermittently take a little extra force to place it in 1st gear. HOWEVER IT DOES NOT GRIND. In my opinion it is nowhere near enough of an issue to warrant any type of service - but I want to disclose every possible known issue.
Exterior
The paint is in good condition, ut is difficult to see all the imperfections in the photos. Front, ear bumpers, ide skirts and hood have all been repainted due to showing age/ mileage. The front license plate holes have been filled but original plate bracket is included. Has a few small dings on the driver side and roof (see photos) The car still has the original windshield and despite some pitting and one small rock chip was left alone due to its uniqueness. Sunroof is in nice condition with no scratches and all hardware associated with it functions as it should. All four wheels are in near perfect condition with no curbings.
Interior condition
Interior is in very nice original condition. The drivers seat covering has recently had the inner section replaced due to developing several tears. Front and rear carpet, eadliner, oor panels, assenger seat and rear seat are all original. Original floor mats are included, ut are showing their age and have had some repairs. Newly refurbished OEM cassette deck and amplifier have been installed. At one point a previous owner had a speaker box/battery setup in the rear hatch area, nd some evidence of that can still be seen on the carpet imprints (see photo). Hatch cargo cover and sunroof bag are present and included. Also included are the owners manual, ouch, arranty and radio booklets, riginal warranty card with VIN, redit card key blank, VT certificate, elcome letter and duplicate window sticker.
Overall the car is in very nice condition however please keep in mind that this is a 22 year old car with 93k miles and was formerly a daily driver.
