In my opinion this color combination of Black with Red interior is the most desirable combination that Ford built during this time period. Add the red stripe with MUSTANG letters and GT badges plus the like-new style steel wheels and you have one good-looking car. According to the information I have, his beautiful Mustang was owned by one individual for around thirty years. Check the door tag and you will see all the information checks out. And, t is one of the rare "A" Code 289's built with 4 BBL carb from the factory. Also, t has something really unique; please look at the pictures of the underside and you will see one of the first COBRA oil pans built. Notice how the fins on the bottom of the pan does not go all the way across like they do now. Very cool to say the least!!

Please look at the pictures of the interior of the car. The interior is in fantastic condition. I really do not see anything that I would do to it to make it better. The steering wheel is NOT cracked as they normally are. The A/C is really nicely detailed and it has the proper AM radio that works properly. The A/C will freeze you out of the car!! I would like you to notice the incredibly rare floor mats that were available in 1965 and 1966. It is most unusual for these to still be with the car.

Now, ook at how nicely the engine compartment is detailed. Almost all of the bolts have been bead blasted and repainted and re-installed. Proper decals have been placed in the appropriate places. And, o top it off the Auto Lite battery cover has been installed to add to the factory look. Please notice the FOMOCO washer bag and the optional dress-up chrome valve covers which add to the overall fastidious look of the engine compartment. Take this baby to a car show,, ark it, ift open the hood on the car and watch the people faces as they see your incredibly detailed engine compartment. What a feeling that is!!

The paint on the car is probably 20 to 30 years old and consequently you can see imperfections in the paint. When you see the car from a distance, verything looks good. But, p close you see them. Please look and see how nice and straight the body is and how all the gaps are the way they should be.

As you can see by the pictures of the underside of the car, he floors and frame of the car are in unbelievable condition. Everywhere you look they are extremely nice.

In summary, hat you have here is one of the most desirable color combination offered by Ford, henomenal looking engine compartment, very clean underside with NO rust and a proper trunk compartment with correct style trunk decal on the trunk lid. This really nice Mustang drives great and when you "stomp it" , t runs extremely fast. Don't miss this one!! I am not sure when I will get another one that is this color combination and rust-free body and underside!!
