1940 Ford Pickup, ll steel with recent frame on makeover including new deep firewall, nd floor. Painted in 2014 with Green metallic paint(2010 Jaguar) with flames and louvered hood with stainless spring arms/chrome hood hinges sets this pickup apart from all others. It is powered by a 1956 DeSoto 330 Hemi engine that has been rebuilt with a turbo 350 tranny (original prototype designed and built by JW performance transmissions in Rockledge, L), lectric choke four barrel carb by Eldebrock, lectronic ignition module within original distributor, M power steering pump, ew Taylor spark plug wires/plugs, nd new fuel tank by Drake. Front end is fitted with a Camaro sub frame, ew NASCAR type A arms, ew front wheel disc brakes/calipers, nd rear end is fitted with a 12 bolt posi (1969 Chevelle SS). All new shocks, ires, eauty rings, ubcaps, nd new rear axles/bearings with drum brakes. New quad gauges tell the story for 35-50 pounds of oil pressure, 90 degree operating temperature, nd 13.6 volts charging. Cooled by a new aluminum radiator/electric fan, ew finned separate transmission cooler, nd an updated separate oil filter adapted for the Hemi engine. Bob Drake wiper kit with all new housings, otor, rms and blades; in/out new door handles and window cranks.
Electric leather bucket seats, ew grey carpeting, loor shifter, hird brake light, ew rubber and glass all around, nd custom headliner with upper console. Tunes are provided by Planet Audio device which allows AM/FM/CD/DVD in a touch screen environment. Headlights are halogen powered with turn signal in new Drake trim rings and parking lamps within the headlight cluster. Taillights are 1939 frenched-in teardrop LED for extreme night time brightness. New rear bumper has an imbedded light for the FORD display in the center of the bumper. New battery is housed in a stainless steel box with a drop down feature underneath a new steel bed with aluminum diamond plate. License tag is housed in a custom fitted valence below the bed. Tailgate is new with all new stainless steel chains and hinges. New glass pack mufflers with all new exhaust from front to rear.
