Up for sale is a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with 79,387 original miles. The car has just been pulled out of storage and must be sold. The car is only driven a couple times a year. The Mustang is powered by the 351 Cleveland 2V automatic V-8 engine. There is approximately 1000 miles on the rebuilt engine and it has been bored .030 over. There were Trick Flow Cleveland heads installed along with a mild cam, oller rockers, nd an Offenhauser intake. Also installed were long tube headers and a PYPES exhaust system. The motor runs really good and has a nice aggressive sound. The original parts still go with the car, nd the heads have been redone. Also installed on the Mustang is the Ram Air Kit and it is functional.
The exterior of the car is in really nice condition. The car has had one repaint. No rust on the car. The car has had new quarters installed and a passenger side floor patch panel. Very minimal scratches and very minimal chips, ost of which were touched up. The front bumper has some cracks in the paint. And the passenger side fender has paint cracks above the wheel well. All original glass on the car. There is some bubbling where the quarter panel meets the roof on both side of vehicle. The mustang is riding on 15" Keystone rims with P255/60 R15 BFGoodrich Radial TA tires. Tires are like new with plenty of tread.
The interior is just as nice too. All original except for the headliner and the dash pad. The bucket seats and rear seat are original. Driver seat has a rip at the seam, robably can be fixed. It has a aftermarket radio and original AM radio is not available. The Mustang was equipped with AC from the factory, owever the AC compressor and condenssor have been removed and they go with the car. The original steering wheel also goes with the car.
Also included is the Marti Report, hich is nice to have because it tells you all the options on the car and the production totals for those options and much more.
