Maxlider Brothers Customsis an Illinois based shop focused solely on the restoration and sales of the Ford Bronco. With Broncos in their family since 1966, rik & Kris Maxlider have always been passionate about this iconic vehicle. With over 20 years of dealership experience, ris is the General Manager of the shop and is an ASE Certified Senior Master Ford Technician. Erik is the CEO and personally handles sales and customer management. We have 2 Senior Master Ford techs on the team, apprentices, long with Keith Mortimer, renowned Bronco body/paint expert.

In this auction, e showcase our freshly restored 1973 Ford Bronco done in a gorgeous dark metallic grey color. The winner of this auction will be able to pick the color of their own build.

As you will see in the photos, his is your chance to own a one-of-a-kind early Bronco that runs, rives and performs like a modern-day vehicle and looks like it just rolled out off the showroom floor.

Engine:

We are proud to be a BluePrint Engines dealer and have selected their fantastic 347 Stroker motor with upgraded fuel injection for your build. This 400HP engine provides plenty of power with 415 ft lbs. of torque. It includes aluminum heads, oller cam and a 30 month / 50,000 mile warranty! You will LOVE this motor.

Transmission:

The old Ford Broncos came from the factory with only 3 gears...and a 55MPH top speed. Not this one...we have chosen the 5 speed NV3550 tranny to give you a very modern driving experience. You will have all the top speed you need and it drives so smoothly, ou'll want to make it your daily driver!

Interior:

The ProCar Scat front buckets are some of the most comfortable seats we have had in a Bronco. They fit the look of the Bronco perfectly and feel much better than the classic factory seats. The rear bench seat is a fold and tumble model from Tom's Bronco Parts. The inside of the tub has been lined to provide plenty of protection using the popular Raptor VOC kit. Interior colors and style can be changed to fit your needs.

Body & Paint:

It's beautiful! When needed, e will replace as much sheet metal as needed on your Bronco and we use the best products available. No bad patch jobs and shortcuts. We do it the right way. In the end, t will be laser straight and the gaps on your vehicle will be flawless. Keith is a magician...

Wheels & Tires:

The wheels on this Bronco fit the look perfectly. We selected the brand new Fuel Rampage 20x10" wheels that are finished in a gun metal grey and a gloss black outer lip that really set them off rolling down the road. The General Grabber AT2's are some of my favorite tires on a Bronco. They have a rugged look, ut still stay quiet on the road. This set is almost $4,000 alone! You can select this same setup or opt for another color/style.

Suspension:We recommend 3.5" of lift to create an aggressive look, ut maintain drivability. We combined the 2.5" Lift Kit from Tom's Bronco Parts and 1" of body spacers to provide enough room for the upgraded transmission. This kit includes 7 degree C bushings and a nice smooth ride. We added the front and rear sway bars from the great guys at Hellwig products...no body roll! Your new Bronco will drive straight and feels safe.

Upgrades & Features:

Steering - We understand the steering pitfalls on these old Broncos and it starts with the power steering gear box. Your Bronco build will include a brand new Quick Ratio kit that includes a new gear box, aginaw pump, ower shaft and better steering than the day it rolled off the assembly line!

Vintage Air A/C and heat - We are a Vintage Air dealer and added the Bronco Gen 4 kit to this Bronco. It works GREAT and you will love it in your Bronco.

Overhaulin Roll cage - Just like one Chip Foose used in his show...it's on this Bronco in the photos. Not your style? Upgrade to a full 8 point family roll cage or dial it back to the basic 4 point roll bar. Your choice.

Centech wiring - Our builds get all new wiring harness from Centech!

Bumpers - A one-of-a-kind front bumper was combined with a heavy duty spare tire & equipment carrier rear bumper. Rather have the classic chrome factory bumpers? Let us know and we can adjust to meet your needs.

Lights - The halo headlights from Octane Lighting are perfect for the early Ford Bronco...and they look awesome. You will love them on your Bronco!

Black Chrome - The side mirrors and door handles on this Bronco are black chrome. We will go with basic chrome if it better fits your design/style.

Stereo - The stereo is hidden in the locking center console and we selected a Bluetooth enabled Sony CD player with 2 marine grade cage mount speakers. Want a better sound system? We can do it!
