Description for Ford F-250 1975

This is a pretty looking 1970s era Ford F-250 3/4 ton Camper Special Ranger pickup truck in the original yellow+white color.I let this truck sit for too long so now it's now time to pass it on to someone who would like to restore or part it out. Had considered an engine swap to (bio)diesel but doesn't seem possible on 2x4 of that era. NO RESERVE -- It is priced to sell!! There are many valuable parts on this vehicle. It was customized by the previous owner in Marin County. He used it to tow & load-in / out his boat. Camper Special model has improved springs and 7500 GVWR. Unique one-of-a-kind wooden duck hood ornament. All keys to all locks are provided (I will check for spare set).390 V8 Engine (has not been started for years).Automatic 4-speed transmission.Holley carburetor was rebuilt prior to decommission. Two fuel tanks.Comfortable seat.Pass-through window on cab and shell.Includes 4 matching chrome alloy wheels + 2 alloy spares. Please note that all tires will need replacement.In-bed metal toolbox + fiberglass Leer Crown camper shell. Fog Lights!Trailer hitches both front & rear (dual balls), nd includes wiring for a trailer. Air horn. Backup alarm. This truck was made to tow.I believe it may have had air-conditioning originally and you can see what I believe is an auxiliary heater in passenger footbed.Various additional parts (master cylinder).Includes full set Factory service manuals & Haynes Manual.Originally California owned and manufactured. Purchased from 2nd owner who told me he had the engine rebuilt previously. Texas registered as "antique" until March 2018 with clean TX title.Body is straight but See pictures for damage, hich includes: dent in middle of tailgate lower trim and small corner dent in front of windshield drivers side (hood height), therwise the body is straight. Worst rust pictured (ext. drivers door bottom) but otherwise some patina of rust in places but nothing more serious than what is pictured. Chips in windshield. Driver side window lever is broken. I got a replacement that didn't quite fit!!!??? Hydraulic springs on Leer shell door no longer hold the door open. At a minimum, eeds a replacement battery + tires, elts, luids flushed, ikely some gaskets. BUT with some TLC this truck could be back on the road -- where it belongs.Although the truck does not run at this time, t is accessible for towing. I will not arrange shipping on behalf of buyer but I will facilitate any pickup that may be arranged. This vehicle is being sold as is, here is with no warranty, xpressed written or implied.
