I bought this car a few months ago. It is a beauty. 1968 GT500 convertible. Previous owner was personal friends with Carroll himself! Shelby signed the dash. #00255 in the registry.
I bought this with full intentions of restoring it to like new, ut my plans have changed as I need the money to buy a house. Keep in mind this car does NOT need a restoration. I'm just anal like that! ;)
This car is extremely nice. Not perfect, ut nice. It is a very solid driver. The motor is not original, ut is era correct from what I know. Everything else is original as far as I know. Everything works other than the horn, ut that should be a easy fix. Drives very well.
This car has one small area on the rear quarter that will eventually need repair. It looks fine, ut the metal is thin. Also, he floor has a quarter-sized soft spot. Other than this, o rust. The condition of this vehicle is a solid 9.
