Description for Ford Model T 1920
This car just completed a frame off restoration in 07/15. There was over $8500.00 spent in new parts from Mac's Antique Auto Parts. I will now do my best to remember those parts: all suspension bushings, hackles, ing pins & bushings, heel bearings, il caps, ub caps, ll engine gaskets, an belt, loor boards, runk floor boards, gn. switch, nbsp;complete wiring harness, 1) new coil, imer, ark brakes, nner tubes, tarter switch, enerator bearings & brushes, 2v regulator. Here are the expensive new parts: (4) fenders, 2) running boards & aprons, omplete hood, orward body half patch panels welded in both sides, omplete new top w/ pads, traps, uckles. Refinished with Sherwin Williams single stage acrylic urethane over epoxy primer. I'm sure that I have forgotten some important stuff so if you are interested just ask. The car has been driven approximately 100 miles since July and has been in (1) parade. It ran for about 1.5 hours in a Florida parade without overheating or missing a beat. It drives comfortably at around 32 mph. As you can see it sits inside with a custom Griot's garage cover. Now for the fine print. It should be color sanded and polished to be perfect. What you see in the pictures has not been polished yet. I was silly enough to think that I could seal it up to not leak oil - wrong. From what I can tell that is natural and there is nothing that you can do about it. The magneto is also not working. I converted it to 12v and it runs perfectly without the mag. Please call (561) 261-3185 with any questions.
