You are viewing my personal 1986 Ford Ranger Extra CAB

I liked the 1986 styling so much because it looks like a truck should without the wrap around headlights. It keeps it square in the front of the fenders. I had to have two! (see pics) I bought my son a 1986 as well but a standard cab. We painted his Grabber Blue and mine 2015 Camero Hot Red. I wanted an extra cab being a taller person I could recline the seat back. It also has two folding seats behind front seats. New Ford Grill color matched to truck.

My truck has so many extra options its hard to list them all.

I have the One Piece Door windows that eliminate the ugly side vent windows. My windows on both doors are also electric.

I have two gas tanks that work off a simple switch on the dash. And being this truck gets excellent gas mileage it seems I hardly fill it up.

Some options and things I have done to my truck are listed below:

  • 4 inch suspension lift with HD red Coils and shocks and adding drop brackets, erber Aerospace Stainless Braided brake lines,

  • 16 x 8 Ultra spoke wheels with General tires

  • Premium Line-X bed coating.

  • All new rubber seals in windows, oors, oor jams etc.

  • New carpet kit

  • New headliner.

  • New Door Panels.

  • New custom color matched upholstery to Honda Seats-very comfortable!

  • Colored keyed exterior locks and handles.

  • Custom mounted Jeep mirrors.

  • Full new stereo system with hands free Blue Tooth phone system with Ipod and CD also four HERTZ premium speakers mounted in stock locations.

  • H4 headlights with Ballasts.

  • Burl style wood dash with Tachometer.

    • Engine 2.9 V6 has a new Cat-Back exhaust system with a nice tone.

    New rebuilt heads which include new Hydraulic lifters,Drive Belts, tarter solenoid,Complete Valve job,Thermostat. New Radiator, ew Master Cylinder.

    Compete Oil Change and Antifreeze.

    People just love this truck! Hate to sell it but must to complete other truck projects.
