Description for Ford Mustang 1967

1967 V8 Ford Mustang Coupe - Red with Black Interior

**** Spoiler Alert: Car in not currently running ****

Purchased in 2001 with 63,177 original miles (up to 65,000 now). 289 V8/3-speed auto. Already a great runner, decided to upgrade it to HiPo standards. I had the engine rebuilt .030 overbore with parts to match or exceed HiPo standards. Redid the brakes, pgrading to power brakes. Complete overhaul of suspension with new KYB gas adjustable shocks. Started fixing up the interior. Then ran out of time and soon thereafter, arage space. So now my Mustang is stuck in a (heated) barn 45 min. north of Milwaukee. It's going to need some work to degunk the motor and get it running (plus new battery and tires). I have receipts for well over $9K in professional mechanical restorations and improvements, lus about $1K in interior parts just waiting to be installed.

Recipe for one awesome '67 Mustang: Degunk, ew battery, e-tire (maybe with a Torque Thrust upgrade to the wheels), nstall interior parts, o some minor rust repair to rockers and floor pans, nd paint to choice (Candy Blue would be awesome!). Already included: Only 68K original miles, iPo-spec engine upgrades, isc brakes, YB suspension, nd a nearly brand-new interior (the seats are in prefect shape).

I'm getting close to talking myself out of even listing this very cool car. I've put $15K+ into it and I don't expect to get anything near that out of it. But, crew it -- if I don't see an offer I like, 'll leave it for a retirement project.

A few more pix, art spreadsheets, nd restoration invoices are available. Serious buyers only, lease!
