Sure. it's fiberglass. but the extra effort to make it unique really pays off with a cool look and impeccable attention to detail. making this one truly stand out. The CMC victoria body style is the ideal blend of sporty and practical. Not as frumpy as a 2-door sedan but with a back seat that coupes can't offer. it's just a great-looking car. As you can see. the builder got a little creative with his lighting. integrating 1996 Camaro headlights into the front fenders. and while it doesn't hide the 1933 Ford DNA. it definitely looks unique. Open hood sides are a traditional hot rod styling element and they really tried to give it a smoothie look with recessed taillights built into the body. a flush-mounted filler door for the tank. and a recessed license plate frame. The pearlescent paint is simply gorgeous and there must be hundreds of hours in the prep work and final finish. and you'll never get tired of watching the light play across the bodywork. A custom grille keeps the Ford shape but gives it a cool mesh insert for a unique look and it still wears original-style bumpers fore and aft. They colored a bit outside the lines for the interior. too. giving it a modern look with interesting materials. The buckets are from a late-model Honda and are nicely upholstered to be both striking and comfortable. Matching door panels look dramatic and the fully finished back seat area is big enough for adults. Features like a center console. a tilt column. A/C. and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo in an overhead console are all included. as you'd expect from a quality rod like this. The gauges are from Classic Instruments and have an old-fashioned look to them and the handsome two-tone dash works rather well. don't you think? Power comes from a 1966-vintage Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 punched out to 357 cubes and running 9. 85:1 compression. so it's very pump-gas-friendly. Factory upgrades like a set of GM heads and LT1 cast iron exhaust manifolds mean it's durable and easy to service and the 2. 5-inch Flowmaster exhaust system sounds awesome. With a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and 3. 08 gears in the Ford 8-inch rear. it's an effortless highway cruiser and it rides quite well with a Mustang II independent front suspension. The rear suspension is a setup from a 1984 Thunderbird with air shocks and air bags inside the springs (more on those in a moment). so handling is rather adept. too. Shiny Centerline wheels have a retro look and carry a big-n-little tire combination.
