Description for Ford Crown Victoria 1988

Original Unmolested 1988 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Station Wagon. 8 Passenger with 3rd row opposing fold up seats. Two-Way tail gate. 5. 0 V-8 engine with AOD overdrive automatic transmission. cruise control A/C. power steering & brakes. power windows (which all work including tail gate glass). drivers power seat. power mirrors. This car had been donated to a charity by an estate in 2012 where I got it at an auction with 64. 34 miles. The car had not been driven / registered for about 7 years prior to that. I've since put just over 6300 miles on it. Since it had been sitting so long. obviously undercover. nbsp;I had all the fluids flushed. filters replaced. and the brake seals (calipers & cylinders) replaced. It also needed a new battery and alternator at that time. I also put new tires. brake drums & shoes (rear) and pads up front. This summer I did put a new water pump in it too. I was looking for a clean wagon to use for my shop errands with plans to two-tone it and put lettering on it for advertising. This one was just too nice and original so I couldn't make myself change it up. I even went out and bought brown bed sheets and brown bath towels to cover the rear carpet and seats whenever I carried something in it. While I love driving this car. I have found that I sometimes could use a taller cargo area. and I still want to put lettering on my shop rig. so I'm selling this one and going to go back to a full sized van. This car is in great shape and runs and drives great too. the paint appears all original with the factory painted on pinstripes faded some. I thought about putting tape stripes over them. but decided original is better. It's got a couple of small door dings in it (a nickel sized one on the front of the right front door. and a smaller one on the left side. Only other flaw I notice is there is a flat black painted trim piece below the tail gate window that is flaking some. and it's missing a right rear wheel opening molding. Everything seems to work on it. All the windows work including the tail gate one from both the lock and the dash switches. The two-way tail gate works both ways. A/C blows cold. and heat works good as well. Cruise control. clock. power mirrors all work fine and wire wheel covers (there is some curb rash on those). It's got the nice velour interior. power driver's seat. Luggage roof rack. and front cornering lamps. For a 26 Year old car. this one is in great shape. Title is clear in my shop name. It has current tabs on it. so can be driven. I wouldn't hesitate to get in it and drive anywhere. but I am selling it as-is without warranty so do so at your own risk. Shipping / delivery is buyer's responsibility. I keep the car at my shop with normal business hours 8-5 Mon-Fri and usually early Saturday morning. so plan accordingly. or let your shipper know. It can be viewed here as well at 307 W State St. Sedro Woolley. WA 98284. This car is being re-listed because a bidder bought it with the "Buy It Now" option. but didn't make payment. If you use the Buy It Now. you will be required to make the $500 deposit via Paypal immediately. Please do not bid unless you plan on following through.
