Description for Ford F-250 1966
1966 Ford F250 Crew CabThis is a very nice example of an Original Ford bodied Crew Cab or "Six Pack" short wheel base truck. It was refinished over the course of a year starting in June of 2012 with a rust free body. The 352 engine and the granny low 4 speed transmission were overhauled and then installed into the freshly painted frame with rebuilt suspension. The rearend was also gone thru and retains the set of 4:10 gears. All of the trim and glass look very nice along with the paint which I would say is driver quality throughout. It has an exceptional and original 66 aluminum grille which are very hard to come by these days. The core support and inner fenders are very nice along with the rest of the sheet metal on this truck. An example that shows how clean the truck was from the beginning would be the original headliner that is still intact. You can not buy this reproduction. The truck is a very fun piece and a conversation starter anywhere you go. If you like the character that surrounds an original truck... You'll love this one! Anyone is welcome to come and view the vehicle during the auction. We also welcome any third party inspections on your behalf. Also, f you're the kind of guy or gal that needs to see, ouch and smell it before purchase... we will be happy to pick you up at BNA and drop you back off so you can have the peace of mind in what you are purchasing. Any emails asking to disclose what the reserve is will be ignored. That defeats the purpose of an auction. However, eel free to make offers if you feel inclined. If any additional pictures or information is needed feel free to call Brian at 615-207-6279
