1936 Ford Cabriolet Maroon with Rumble Seat at $1 NO RESERVEUp for auction at a $1 NO RESERVE is a very nice Maroon 1936 Ford Cabriolet Model 68 with tan top and correct Brown leather interior. The Cabriolet convertible was a higher end model and represented less than 1% of all of the cars Ford built in 1936. They are very collectable today.
This car came to us from the estate of a collector who was attracted to unique cars and it has been stored in his climate controlled building for a while.
Our service department has completely gone through the engine, raking, uel and electrical systems of the car to make sure that it will be dependable and safe to drive. The total billing at our in house rates was $11,075. Some of the major repairs included a new gas tank, rebuild of the stock radiator and a rebuild of the carburetor. It has also been updated to hydraulic brakes for safety and better stopping.
It starts, hifts, tops and drives fine for getting to local shows, arades and cruise nights.
The car is an older restoration that still looks good. The paint has some flaking and chipping. The interior shows no rips or tears, ut the rubber flooring could be replaced to enhance the look.
