Description for Ford Mustang 1975

1975 Ford Mustang II, rom our Dad's Estate.
Car History:
This car used to belong to our late grandfather who bought it new during the gasoline crisis of the 1970s. He used it to drive to work every day from his house out near the airport in Unity Township, estmoreland County, A to the Kennametal Kingston Plant, ear Latrobe, A. Grandpap was an electrician at Kennametal. Grandpap's other car was not fuel efficient, e liked to drive big, omfortable cars like Lincolns and Buicks. They liked big cars with cushy seats with plenty of headroom and legroom. But, or Grandpap to drive to work, e used this little Mustang because it was "Good on gas!" At some point about the time when Grandpap retired from Kennametal and he and grandma moved to Florida, e transferred the Mustang title to my late mother. My late father had the car and rarely drove it; but, e had the car registered and running until 2011. About that time, ad drove it to one of his properties and parked it under some trees. Sometime circa 2011-2012 (I can't remember exactly), tree uprooted and fell on the Mustang. At the time, ad felt the car engine, nterior, nd parts were of possible value to a Mustang restorer/collector, o Dad towed the tree damaged car to a garage shed on that property. The car was kept inside in that garage /shed until we, s executors of our Dad's estate, old that property in 2015. Prior to the real estate closing, e had the car towed out of the shed in 2015. Since then, e had to store it outside. We have had it covered under a plastic car cover / tarp to keep rain/snow out of it.
So far, e have not been able to find the keys to the car -- we are still looking. We therefore did not attempt to start it. This car has a clear, A Title. As seen in the photos, he tree did damage. If there is a view of the car you'd like to see that isn't in the photos, mail me and I'll go take a picture and will answer your questions. As evidenced by the car's Kendall oil change sticker (on the inside of the driver's door from around about the time Grandpap had it), he sticker shows a 1987 oil change with car mileage at 40,947. The Engine's miles are Original at 52,902. Dad did the oil changes himself, o there were no more "door stickers" about what/when oil change. Dad preferred driving 4 wheel drive trucks; therefore, his car wasn't driven very much, nly that additional approximately 12,000 miles from circa 1987/1988 to circa 2011.
After the Tree Fell on it:
As seen in the photos, he uprooted tree did a number on the car. The passenger door cannot easily be opened closed due to the metal damage. If you open it, ou won't be able to close it without a major hassle. The drivers side door opens/closes. The tree made dents, cratches, tc. There is typical lower body rust. The Windshield was smashed up and the rear view mirror fell off and hit something in the car causing the mirror glass to crack. There is damage to the rug in the driver's foot well area where the carpet is missing. The driver's seat has damage as shown in the one photo where the vinyl got damaged in a diagonal mark. Since we didn't have the key to the trunk, e found that the rear seat was detached and we moved the rear seat and looked into the trunk compartment. From this perspective, here appeared to be cover back there, here underneath there may or may not be a spare tire and jack? We do not know if the spare & jack are there since we couldn't open the trunk in a normal way and therefore didn't attempt to crawl into the trunk from the vehicle's interior to investigate further. The rear tail light on the passenger side is cracked from the tree incident. (see picture). We do not know if we have the keys for it or not. We will keep looking, ut as of right now, t is being sold without the keys. As seen in the one photograph, he passenger door upholstery, he mirror, he car's antenna, tc., re what we found inside of the backseat of the car. I laid them out on the ground and photographed them so you could see what parts are there.
