This posting is for a 1962 Ford Galaxie, 8, 92 original - 89.9k original miles - with ford-omatic super torque transmission. The car is in excellent mechanical shape and drives well, ome surface rust but no real through metal damage. The steel is extremely high quality, lmost depleted steel.. I have replaced the rubber hoses and the lines, ut on a nice new holley carburetor, ew fuel filters. The trim is included, ictured separately. I was preparing this car for a full restor, ut will need to sell before I do the cosmetics. This car sells restored, or an average price of 25k - however this actual car was featured in the films "Driving Miss Daisy, nd "Angel Heart", I have included images from the movie, f this car in the movie itself. For this reason, he car will likely sell for more, restored.
The car is not pictured with its hubcaps and some of its trim, nd its steering wheel chrome but all of this is included in the auction and will come with.
Here's what's wrong with it - This car only needs minor body work, paint job and some interior work . The interior is a bit time worn, ut the lights work, he heater blows hot air nicely, he radio is ok, nd there's an extra radio on the base floor that can be installed. I would drop the bank tank and clean it out, because occasionally a little rust gets into the fuel filter. I will have new fuel filters on it for you when it arrives, nd they have been getting clearer and you may just want to solve the problem by being aggressive with changing out the fuel filters. There is a rust spot just underneath the floor of the back right passenger's side, hich is pretty fixable. All other rust is completely minor and can be fixed with a minimum of body work, o rust goes through any of the side panels, r doors. The window and door sometimes stick, n the back left passenger, nd the drivers side window can be cranky and you will likely need to take off that panel and get the window back on its track .
