Offered for sale is an American racing legend - a REAL "G" Code 1970 Ford Mustang BOSS 302, ith period correct and stamped "DOZ" engine block, riginal Hurst 4 speed shifter, nd correct rolled under front fenders. Restored in 2007, his low mileage BOSS is in excellent condition, nd has less than 65,000 original miles.
the legendary, igh performance, ord BOSS 302-4V racing engine, his BOSS runs strong and fast, tarts easily, nd does not overheat or leak oil. With a 3.91 rear-end, his pony is very quick off the line, ut still offers good highway performance by turning approximately 3,000 RPMs at 70 MPH. The Hurst shifter is tight and right, nd makes this car a real blast to drive. As can be seen by reviewing the pictures, he engine and engine compartment are very clean.
The body and paint are in great condition. Painted in a beautiful Wimbleton White, his BOSS really shines. The BOSS has a very straight body, nd has NO visible rust or dents. The floor pans and trunk are solid and in very good shape, nd the chrome is in great condition and really shines. The car was originally painted in Grabber blue, ut painted in Wimbleton white during 2007 full restoration.
The interior is in very good condition. The dashboard was replaced in 2007, nd front seats covers and foam were replaced in 2011 with correct black vinyl bucket set covers. Both the carpet and headliner are in good condition, ith only a small hole in the headliner that has been repaired. All instruments work, ncluding the original deluxe rim blow steering wheel (horn). The windows are in good condition and tinted. There is a very small and barely noticeable scratch in the front windshield caused by previous set of wipers.
The 2007 restoration included rebuild of drive train, ew bushings, nd new suspension. The car drives straight and very firm with the legendary BOSS racing suspension. The front disc brakes are in excellent working condition, aking for quick stops with a great deal of control. The BOSS features the original Magnum 500 wheels, ith newer BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. Also included are both front and rear spoilers, nd rear window louvers. With the 2007 restoration and recent updates, ver $80,000 has been invested in this beautiful and strong running racing legend.
