VEHICLE DESCRIPTION Up for auction is a 1972 Ford Mustang 2 door hardtop. This is a rare find with the straight 6 cylinder engine. This car is in need of a restoration. but you could spend just a little bit of money and have a nice driver car. or go all out and make it into whatever your heart desires. The car runs and drives great and has a clear NJ title. The reserve is low so bid to own and Good Luck! SPECIFICATIONS: 250 CI Inline 6 rated at 98HP @ 3400 RPM. 197 ft-lb torque @ 1600 RPM. front engine. rear drive. automatic transmission. FEATURES: Power steering. bucket seats. AM/FM radio VEHICLE CONDITION: INTERIOR: Not too much work to do here. The worst is the driver’s seat needs to be recovered and the passenger seat track is broken. The rear seat is in great condition. The dash. headliner and door panels are in great condition. EXTERIOR: The body is all there and needs paint and some rust repair. The hood is the worse with rust holes. The rest of the body has the normal bubbling but no holes. The floor seems to be good. The frame is solid (see pics). EXTERIOR TRIM: All trim is that is on the car is ok. The windshield trim is in the trunk. GAUGES/INSTRUMENTS: All gauges and instruments are working as they should. EXTERIOR LIGHTS: All lights are in good working order. ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN: The engine and drive train all work as they should. The engine starts right up with no unusual noises or vibration. The transmission shifts as it should. TIRES: The tires have approximately 70% tread remaining. BRAKES: The brakes are quiet and stop the car. The pedal feel and response are normal. UNDERHOOD: All fluid levels are up to specification. TERMS OF SALE: A $250 deposit within 3 days of auction end and balance to be paid within 5 business days.
