Description for Ford Mustang 1969
1969 Mustang Mach 1Description VIN: 9RM02M157740
This rust free straight 1969 Mustang Mach 1 came from the factory with the 351W, a four speed and a few other options. Fresh off a three year project and less than 200 miles after a professional rotisserie restoration, this original color Candy Apple Red beauty with a tan leather interior has all the options that make it a true cruiser or daily driver. Most everything is new! All new glass and chrome sparkle with the two-stage red paint. Marti Report included.
While still on the rotisserie, custom welded in sub-frame connectors started the modifications to the chassis. The 351W was given a complete setup of Edelbrock Au heads and manifold with a Holley carburetor. A Tremec 5spd manual makes it fun to drive and stops the roar from the Magnaflow stainless steel dual exhaust at cruise speed in overdrive. Four wheel power disc brakes bring it to a quick, smooth stop. An oversize front stabilizer bar and 1” lowering springs improve the stance and handling. The optional OEM Magnum 500 wheels just look right.
All the options you would expect on a new car are found in this resto-mod cruiser- Dakota Digital Dash for complete instrumentation and clock with the optional outside temperature gauge and compass and Cruise Control mounted on an Ididit tilt column with a Banda reproduction wood rim steering wheel. Increased bolster with all new foam are in the all leather front seats. The fold-down rear seat is also covered in leather. New upholstery throughout including the carpet, which was put down over Dynamat noise and heat control. A new console was installed to match the deluxe woodgrain dash. All new interior panels match the upholstery.
A custom high powered stereo was installed by Streetfighters with dual 12” JL Audio woofers powered by a 1000+ Watt MB Quart amp. A separate, isolated battery provides power to the stereo. Main speakers are powered by a four channel MB Quart amp.
Power windows, power door locks with keyless entry, power trunk release, even a power driver’s seat go with the Hurricane Air HVAC system keeping the car comfortable and convenient to drive, even in the Arizona summer. An oversized Champion aluminum radiator keeps the engine temperature in the operating range in summer traffic. Power steering and brakes of course!
Builder believes the 9” Ford third member has 3:73 rear gears in the Positraction differential.
There are far more things to say about this car, but the complete 3-Ring binder notebook full of over $75,000 worth of receipts and data should say it all. Notebook, spreadsheet, and restoration photos are included in the sale of this end of the era Pony car.

Typical disclaimers go with this offering, it is a 47 year old car that has been professionally rebuilt using a plethora of aftermarket restoration parts. It is offered As Is and Shown.
I can deliver the car for a modest fee on open car trailer. Make arrangements with me AFTER the auction closes.
