Description for Ford F-250 1966
Hi everyone! Becky and I have decided to sell "Dave". Dave is a 1966 Ford F250 Camper Special with a 1965 grill. We bought Dave in the mid-90s and drove him for about 10 years. For the last 10 years he sat, started every month, but we really didn't drive him very much. We bought new non-split rims that have excellent tires. Dave has a newer excellent condition windshield. I put a new dual exhaust on three years ago. I took the maximum amount of pictures. Contact me with any questions. We didn't want Dave to rot away so we want him to go to a great owner! Here are the details of the whole truck: 352cid starts strong and sounds good. After warm-up the oil light flickers at idle, it's been like this for 20 years. Clutch and tranny work great. Needs a clutch return spring. All trim is there and in pretty good shape. I dented the front bumper at the gravel pit several years ago. The last owner wrecked the grill and right side fender. He put in a junkyard fender and the 1965 grill. I tried to take pictures of all the rust. The typical 65-66 Ford rust spots. Amazingly, the side tool box is not rusted out! The cab beams are typical and bad, but the cab does not sag. Fender and cab corners show rust, floorboards are rusty, too. Tailgate and a couple of spots in the bed. Dave would make someone a good base project! Low starting bid with an equally low reserve. Dave runs good, but bring a trailer!
