The Vin has been decoded and represents that this vehicle was built in the paint/drive train configuration it currently is in. The car was built Nov. 22nd 1958 for the 1959 model year. in Kansas City, Kansas. The engine is a 292 ci OHV - 2V Carb which webelieveto be the original engine with a Fordomatic 2-speed transmission and sports 3.56 gears. Starts right up at the turn of the key! The car has optional side skirts, maintains the original AM radio, has been converted from a Generator to an Alternator and has an auxiliary electric fan. "Vintage Style" air conditioning has been added and works great, Lake pipes with the option to revert to factory has also been installed. This car is one that you do not often see. There aren't many fine examples such as this one left,Manyof these cars were used for their work horsecapabilities & 7 foot bed and therefore make this a truly unique find. Here is your chance to own apieceofAmerican Automobile history. This car was recently featured in a Barret-Jackson sale (Palm Beach, 2015) where it brought in amodest$27,500in a no reserve auction. Once the previous owneracquiredit he then invested serveral thousands of dollars into the modifications such as: The Alternator, adding Vintage Air and the Lake Pipes. The customer who purchased it from the sale has come into some difficulties and as a result traded it in to us. His loss is your gain! This is something to be proud of! A real show stopper! This will be a gem in any collection! Something you can enjoy for years to come and eventually pass on to the kids and eventually to their kids.
