Description for Ford F-100 1953
Hello selling a project F100 that does run and drive with plenty of new parts installed.I started working on the truck and had all the great plans that anyone might when they start any project but I have decided to sell it and make more time for other things and space. so my intentions were to finish enough things to get the truck road worth so that the next owner can take any direction they want even with the idea to just drive it some as is or take back apart and maybe do a proper wheel set up or IFS!
Ill start with whats new and whats what.
brand new radiator, alternator, DEMON carb, Universals, exhaust, upgraded 12Volt fuse box and wired from front to back with labeled wiring, Turn signals are installed currently and work front and rear even know the photos do not show this as well as new headlights are installed.
The truck is painted in a single stage flat black metallic paint.
there was to many dings and dents everywhere to make the truck a show truck so the flat black look was the approach I took for now. someone could easily start buying new sheet metal and making it what they would like.
The interior is from a 2000s style explorer and the interior is painted viper blue and black and flat black
the transmission is a early 4 speed mustang tranny. the 302 is a early ford 302 with roller rocker set up underneath the valve covers.
the sounds great. and I do have the hood but it has dents in it and I wanted to replace it and same with the tailgate. but both are painted and will be installed soon before the end of auction.
the things that are still needing attendance
I would repaint the truck at some point or just drive it as a hot rod styled truck
I would buy a new hood or if you good at metal work rework the hood
it needs a new passenger window in the door it is cracked in the one area
I do not have the rear window in currently, but before it is sold it will be installed for reasons of transportation.
I only have one running board and its the drivers side I do not have a passenger one but I am still currently looking for one to have and sell with the truck but If i do not find one the new owner will have to hunt for one.
The Truck has a ton of potential and would look amazing lowered and on the ground or just sitting on a set of proper wheels and tire combo. but Im letting the new owner deiced the future of the 1953 f100 302 4 speed!!
These Trucks are not hard to find but one that is basically a driving project is nice to start with and i know my reserve is reasonable price I have all the receipts showing what I have spent of the truck. and they total up quick when you start building these projects!!
