Description for Ford Model A 1931

this is a freshly built 1931 ford model a 2 door sedan. The car was a all original almost rust free car when I started. it has been taken down to the metal patched with metalwhere needed. then the top was chopped 6" and a 2000 suburban roof panel was welded on the top closing the top in and making itvery strong. a few of the seams where then welded up and smoothed out for a better look along with the factory gas tank spout. gas tank filler is a recessed pop up cap in the rear center of the top.the car is 100% metal including grill shell. the frame was custom fabricated for this car with forward frame rails that add to the look and allow forit to have all new cross steer steering components. Front suspensionis all new 4" drop axle and hair pin style including all the king pins and spindles. the rear suspension is stainless steel triangulated 4 link with coil overs on a ford 9" rear end. Brakes are all new including master cylinder, lines and disc brakes in front and drum brakes in rear. motor is a fresh Chevrolet 350 that has been gone thru and reassembled all in black with a Wieland tunnel ram and 2- 4 barrel carbs. every thing on the motor is new and painted or powder coated to match. the trans is a turbo 350 3 speed automatic that has been gone thru, checked and painted to match. all wiring is brand new and lights all work like they should. has brand new gauges that function. interior is all new and custom from top to bottom with panels covered in leather like vinyl and lots of painted, bead rolled panels in the rear. glass in all new safety glass and window mechanisms are all new. grill is a steel 32, ford grill chopped 4" with a stainless insert that was powder coated black. wheels are steel smoothies powder coated black wrapped in wide white wall firestone tires front and back. brand new aluminum radiator and fan. ok with all that said. this is a killer car it is shinny white with all black everything else. it sits 5 1/2 " of the ground with 2 good sized people in it and rides a lot smoother than you would ever think. with the way the floor and the seats are my son who is over 6 foot tall has no problem getting in and out and driving it. the cool thing about it is at its tallest spot it is not quite 4 foot tall so it feels so low. I have been building hot rods professionally for years and this one I really wish I could keep. drives straight down the road and stops like it should. sure I have left some stuff out so call if you are serious.
