Description for Ford Bronco 1966
Lets get real, Broncos are hotter than ever, it's the 50th anniversary. It seems like every shop around has jumped on the band wagon and is selling a freshly restored Bronco. If you can find a nice one that isn't priced at or above full retail, you have found a solid investment. That is what I'm offering.I'm 49, I had a '69 Bronco in high school, and 1 or more and any given time ever since. The Bronco in this auction is one that I have owned for over 6 years. The clutch went out 2 years ago, that's when I decided to do a frame off restoration when I was changing the clutch.
During the restoration, I wanted to make it my own. The factory Pebble Beige paint was changed to Springtime Yellow (another '66 Bronco color). The paint is single stage and was done at Mid Tenn Ford, Nashville's oldest Ford Truck only dealer. I refinished the seats in Ivy Gold to compliment the color change. I added a 2.5" lift kit and wrapped the original steel wheels with a set of BFG All Terrain's 33x9.50x15. The stance is perfect, the tires do not rub.
Original equipment that is unique to the 1966 Bronco includes: Show quality chrome '66 front and rear bumpers, '66 horn button and transfer case shifter knob, '66 seat belts, Roadster fender mount mirror, pencil dash pad, eyebrow grill and tailgate, oil bath air cleaner. Also, optional 6 hole Warn locking hubs with original dash instructional decal. All items are present and extremely hard and expensive to source when correctly restoring a '66.
This is a visor delete, radio delete and rear seat delete Bronco. The factory "dimples" or drill guides are still present showing they were never installed since day 1. The frame is literally perfect and doesn't even have surface rust. The frame vin is clearly legible and matches the trim tag as well as the title.
New items include: Front OEM mat, FORD script halogen headlights, windshield and gasket, front Wild Horses variable rate springs, rear leaf pack, shocks, brake shoes and wheel cylinders, complete drag link, tie rod and ends, adjustable trac bar, drop pitman arm, exhaust, battery, rebuilt carb, plugs, wires, petronix ignition, belts, hoses, radiator, washer fluid bag, body mounts and motor mounts, gas tank and sending unit.
This Bronco is very nice, but not so nice that you can't drive and enjoy it. Feel free to set an appointment to view in person, or I can bring it to a mechanic of your choice for a pre purchase inspection. This Roadster will notdisappoint. Disclaimer: I reserve the right to end theauction early. The $500.00 deposit is non refundable. Ask questions before you bid if you are not sure of something. Sold as is where is with no warranty. Sold with clear title.
I can assist with covered shipping. Shipping isresponsibility of the buyer. I can store the Bronco in a climate controlled warehouse for up to 30 days if necessary.Thank you
