Description for Ford Mustang 1973
A head turning, newly restored, 1973 Ford Mustang, convertible. This car was my “company car” when I 1st moved to America. I love this car and wanted to make her, her best. I spent more money and time than planned and now moving back to the UK. I had the car restored and painted Eleanor silver, which makes this one of the most beautiful cars out there. I get more compliments with this car in a day, that in my Aston Martin in a month. The restoration was completed in 2015. The colour is amazing to see and the satin black on the NASA Ram Air hood, chin spoiler, and the rear spoiler adds a little aggression and bite to the look. Think of Ronda Rousey in a dress. A beautiful elegance, with a punch (Lets just think of her before she lost the fight). The punch is the 302 cubic-inch V8 under the Dress/hood. The engine was rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago and the transmission less than a 200. There is 127,000 on the clock though. To add to the beauty, “Ronda” also got a few upgrades, such as a MagnaFlow exhaust. The car runs great, around Uptown Charlotte or on the motorway. The urethane front bumper is in very good condition as you would expect as I just got the lady restored, chrome and stainless trim gives her an added sparkle. The wheels are original, with great tires and disc brakes. The black vinyl interior and carpet are in really good condition and original. There were a couple of little cracks in the seat frame, but had them welded by the mustang experts in Charlotte. The fact the interior is original and looks so great, gives you a little insight into a well looked after car. The steering wheel is original and a tilt column, which I was told makes this car a bit more special, as it is a rare option for this year. I upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo and speakers, so she looks good and can also sing. The heater works lovely, so you can have the top down most of the year. I still think this is amazing, she has a power roof! 1973 and it is convertible with the flick of a switch. The power folding cloth roof has a glass rear window, so you can see out of it..unlike many others. And I did not skimp, the trunk/boot, is solid and looks great too.
