Description for Ford F-250 1994
We are selling a 1994 Ford F250 4x4XLT Extended Cab, 98k original miles, with a custom built Flatbed that was built by Custom Manufacturing & Fabrication in Bismarck, ND.
The Pick-up has a 7.3L factory Turbo Diesel, We bought the pickup with 82k miles on it a year ago, when we received the pickup the left side of the box was damaged due to a tire blow out, in the pictures you can see that there is a dent in left rear cab corner, this dent happened when the tire blow out. We designed a custom flatbed for the pickup, as you can see in the pictures, this bed is like no other bed you will find. Heavy construction, 4" channel frame, 4"x3/16" angle iron cross members, 3/8" x 5" custom channels for side rails, 10g deck plate, the head ache rack is constructed of 4" square tube uprights with 3" square tube ran inside the 4" for a double wall upright, this was done so that the exhaust running through the uprights did not get the head ache to hot and burn someone if they happen to touch it. YES I SAID THE EXHAUST IS BUILT INTO THE HEAD ACHE RACK. The rest of the headache rack is built from 3" square tube with custom made louvers to protect the back window. There is also a built in 5th wheel ball into the bed, all LED lights, side marker lights are flush mounted into the side rails and tail/brake lights are recessed behind rear skirts for protection. Cost of flat bed was $4600. We also installed rear airbags to help support heavy loads when pulling large trailers, Cost $500.00. Had the transmission rebuilt and installed a Billet Torque converter, transmission was pushing AFT out of the front seal when we purchased it due to a hard seal in front pump from sitting so we just had it completely rebuilt and upgraded the converter while we had it apart. Cost was $5500 installed and it still has some warranty left on the transmission. New Moto Metal wheels and Hankook 10 Ply tires, the front tire are at about 60 percent and the rear tire only have about 800 miles on them, we cut the side wall on one rear tire so had to replace both rears, the spare tire is a match to the 4 on the pickup. Wheels and tires where over $1800. Replaced the fuel tank switch valve on the frame with a factory ford part not the universal junk from the parts store. cost $560 just for the part. This pickup is ready to go anywhere and pull anything. The body is rust free, the dark silver 2 tone used to be white, this was changed before I bought it. They are hard to find with so few miles as this one has. Everything with this pickup works great, A/C blows cold, heater blows hot, radio and CD player work fine, power windows and locks work, the only issue it has is that sometimes you have to play with the buttons for the cruise control a little for it to set, and the dent in the cab and in the drivers door as showed in pictures. This pickup is in great shape for its age and is very reliable, it could use alittle cosmetic work but could be done for less the $1200. Any Questions please ask, we have a lot of money into this pickup and are not expecting to get all of it back.
