Description for Ford Standard Coupe 1938
I am selling my 1938 Ford Standard Coupe. The “standard” has that art deco look with the grill work that extends back to the cowl. VERY UNIQUE. This is being sold as a driving project. All the HARD WORK is done!!! Now you get to do the fun part and personalize it with your choice of interior and paint.
The car now has 3 coats of epoxy primer. It looks good on its own…you could leave it this way or paint it to your liking. I left the interior undone because everyone has their own taste when it comes to color and style. It is simply a blank canvas.
The car needs: a wiring harness. I have wired the car to start it but it will require the remaining. It needs lights. I do have the front light buckets as shown. The interior as mentioned. It will require a hood latch and trunk latch assembly. It also needs all glass.
The engine could use some chrome accessories…but that’s a personal choice.
THE CHASSIS: NO EXPENSE WAS SPARED!
The chassis is a foundation of a strong and safe car. Pete and Jakes Hot Rod Parts supplied the components and were extremely helpful throughout the build process. The NEW components are:
