i am helping my friend Dr Harry Mills of Madison, Ms sell this fine 1930 Ford Model A Cabriolet convertible. Dr Mills is downsizing and I helped him sell an equally fine 1929 Ford Tudor to a gentleman in Germany. That buyer is much pleased with the purchase. Dr Mills has owned this car for several years. He bought it form a fellow in Canton, Ms. That owner had bought the car from a physician in a Southern state. The car had had a frame off, nut and bolt restoration. The year that this was done is not known but the restoration was done in a high caliber. The paint of the car is very fine as is the interior and the convertible top. The odometer is showing a bit less than 1500 miles and this is thought to be the mileage since the car was restored. The car is not perfect, but it is very fine. the bottom of the car is as clean as the top. This car has rare roll up windows and a rumble seat. It is a Briggs Manufacturing Company badged car with Briggs number 161-587. It still operates on a 6 volt electrical system although it has an alternator on it. It has a new carburetor. The car cranks, starts and runs really well. The car won Best of Show at the Mississippi State Fair in 2015 with competition form 100+ other classic cars. It is a fine car.
