*** PLEASE NOTE -- THIS VEHICLE STARTS AND RUNS, BUT NOT WELL. IT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED! Read on for more details. ***
I've been on some adventures with this truck. I bought it to use for camping and recreation, and did some work to turn the bed area into a sleeping space. I've had a lot of fun camping in the back of it! I remember being at a rained out music festival, warm, snug and high up off the ground.
I built a plywood camping platform in the back, which makes it easy to sleep in the truck. Originally, I bought it to convert it to run on veggie oil and pull an RV trailer. Neither of these happened. I'm selling this truck because ultimately, it's too much vehicle for me, I only have room for one vehicle in my life and a 3/4 ton pickup is just overkill. I've switched to a Subaru wagon which gives me just enough utility.
That said, there have been times when having a truck like this has been super useful -- moving furniture up from Miami with a U-Haul trailer was a breeze and so much nicer than renting a box truck! I'll miss it.
I'm a bit over my head with this truck mechanically. In it's current state, it starts and runs, but needs some attention to the fuel system -- it runs rough and smokes. Honestly, this truck needs an owner who is comfortable working on diesel engines. I'm mechanically inclined, but I've recently moved to a small apartment and don't have the space or tools to work on this truck.
I've done quite a bit of work to it -- here's my maintenance log of what I've replaced since purchasing it:

Injection pump (under warranty)
The previous owner has replaced the radiator as well, so it's fairly recent.
Mechanical Condition
This truck will start and drive, but although the Injection pump is brand new, it smokes a lot and runs very rough. It can drive at parking lot speeds, but any faster and the engine cuts out. I think it's likely that the fuel injectors will need to be looked at.
With the engine running, there is no smoke coming from the oil fill cap.
The glow plugs are in good shape and the truck starts right up without hesitation.
The transmission shifts cleanly and drives like it's in good shape.
The valve covers leak some oil.
The air conditioning does not work.
The brakes and suspension are in good shape and have plenty of life left. It does not sqeak, and it drives straight.
The rear tires have less than 5000 miles on them. The front tires are at 20-30% and will likely need attention soon, but are safe to drive on -- no dry rot.
Before the recent fuel system/drivability issues, the truck ran well -- I've averaged 17 MPG. Contact me for a link to the fuel economy history I've recorded.
I've used SCA coolants in this truck since buying it, and haven't observed any signs of cavitation in the block.
I've recorded a walk-around video showing the truck running in it's current condition, contact me for the link (eBay doesn't allow links in auction listings)
Exterior Body Condition
Unfortunately, this truck was vandalized with graffiti, and I've painted over the damage with graffiti of my own. It's a shame, because the body is in good shape. Besides the graffiti marks, the paint is decent for being 25 years old. The frame is clean and rust free.
This has been a Florida truck it's whole life. There are a couple of small rust spots near the cab, but these are hard to see.
The camper top is in rough shape, the clear coat is peeling badly and the paint is faded. It is very useful on the truck, though! The glass on the topper is in decent shape. It does leak during heavy rains, but it just trickles down. Stuff (or humans) on top of the platform stay dry.
Interior Condition
The interior is in good shape. The seats have a small tear, but besides that the interior is clean and functional. It has a working sound system and new speakers.
Overall, this truck will require some work and is priced to reflect that. Once running at 100%, it still has plenty of life, has a strong body and frame, and can provide a 3/4 tons of utility with decent gas mileage for a truck of this size.
I have a clean title in hand.
