Up for auction is an original 1932 Ford 5 window coupe body.THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR ONLY THE BODY - NO FRAME OR ENGINE INCLUDED
It is an original California body that has been garaged for decades. Body is in really nice rust free condition. This is a true barn find car, not a field car that has thin pitted metal. Here's your chance to get a real Henry Ford 32 that was actually made in 1932 with all the rivit detailing that's just not found on reproductions.
What's for sale is just the body, doors, trunk, and all the extra parts on the ground as shown in one of the pictures. Body will be sold with a bill of sale. No frame, engine or any other parts are included. The body has never been chopped or had the roof or cowl filled. It has two of the nicest doors I have ever seen with original sound deadening inside and unpitted smooth metal all the way down to the drain holes in the bottom. Worst part of the body is the rear corners near the center panel under the trunk, which will need attention. Looks like amateur dent repair work was done, not rust repair. The body has no patch panels in the front cowl, as evidenced by the inside pictures. Looks like the only patches are in the quarters right behind the doors. The rest of the quarters are nice and straight even viewed from inside with original sound deadening tar boards stuck on the sides. You can see the nice condition of the metal under the rear window with no rust or other issues. I believe the black color inside the body is original. There is a section in the windshiel header that has been cut in the middle. I'm including an original complete header section to repair this back to factory without patching it. The floor was also cut out of the car in a failed attempt to make a low-boy. No other modification was made other than cutting the floor out. I will include a repro floor and the braces to repair it. This is one of the best original California 5 window bodys you will find. Included with the body will be a floor, under seat pan, original inside header panel, original package shelf, original windshield (broken glass and some rust starting on the lower section), floor braces, rear window drain pan, original steel rear fenders that have been bobbed, black original firewall.
The frame, firewall (yellow), and engine in some of the pictures in NOT included with the body. I borrowed it from a friend just to keep the body off the floor. It is not included nor is it for sale.
Please dont make an offer to 'pick it up now' I am very busy, balancing two jobs and 2 year old twins. There is no now for me. I'm not hurting for money. Cash waving gets no results, I know what the car is worth. Pushyness and rudeness will only encourage me not to respond.
I am starting this auction Thursday and will make the car available for inspection on the weekends. There will be two weekends where I will make the body available for viewing before the auction ends on Sunday night August 14th. Please make every attempt to personally view and inspect this body so you can bid accordingly. The body is kept in Vacaville.
This is a body for someone that wants to build a REAL deuce coupe.

I am making it non-rufundable because I dont want anyone thinking they can win the auction to give them more time to inspect the car. Inspection time will be prior to the end of auction, not after. You are bidding to buy not to inspect. Full payment is to be made within 7 days of end of auction. Balance to be paid in cash upon pick-up.
