1948 Ford F-1 For Sale

This southern truck had a body off restoration and was then stored in an environmentally controlled building for many years. The frame was cleaned and painted, all rubber mounts, gaskets & seals replaced. New glass all around, seals installed. The seat was recovered. The truck was painted the correct color, Monsoon Maroon. The engine is a 100 HP V8 with 3 speed floor shift transmission, and 3.73:1 rear axle ratio. The owner lost interest. The truck was sold and then brought up to date mechanically.

The vehicle is registered, insured and driven periodically.

Mechanical Up-Grades

Generator rebuilt

Voltage regulator replaced

Starter solenoid replaced

Original style battery installed

Complete ignition tune-up, and engine timed correctly.

Clutch components from frame to transmission replaced

Clutch disk, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, cross shaft and bushings replaced

Transmission leaks were corrected

Rear axle bearings replaced

Motor mounts replaced

Transmission mount replaced

Complete fuel system from gas cap to intake manifold replaced

All instruments restored. Speedometer 1,040.3 miles.

New temperature senders installed

New front exhaust header pipe installed

Front steering components replaced and steering box adjusted.

Spare tire carrier and spare tire added.

Original behind seat tool box added.
