Up for Auction is this Barn Find 1969 Mustang Mach 1 SportsroofThis Mustang has been in storage for 26 years ! and purchased from the Original Owner. The car has Power Steering . Automatic Transmission and Black Deluxe Mach 1 interior. The car has been repainted once Indian Fire Red . however the original color is Winter Blue. ( a Really Nice looking color on a 69 Mach 1 . ) Overall the body on the car is really good. The front and rear frame rails are all nice and solid. The shock towers are good and solid with no holes cut. I have tested the cowl and there are no leaks. The undercarriage was undercoated and the torque boxes and floor pan look to be solid. The transition pan and trunk floor are solid. The car will need a tail light panel installed. It has rust around each tail light. There is some rust at the bottom of quarter panel and I can tell there is some bondo in the lower quarters. So plan on some repairs. All the vin # 's . buck tag. door tag. dash vin tag are all present And match the clear title. I also have the Original Bill of Sale from the dealership it was purchased from and a Deluxe Marti report which I will post. The car came with Black deluxe interior and is all original. The correct Mach 1 high back seats. door panels. Rim blow steering wheel are all present. The woodgrain instrument cluster. clock panel and woodgrain on door panels are all real nice. The headliner is in good condition. Overall. the interior is in fair condition and but needs to be restored. It will need carpet. door panels and upholstery. There is a crack up on the dash pad along the speaker grille. All the seat belts and shoulder harness are there. The rear seat is in good shape. Mechanically its all there but has been sitting since 1988. I pulled the starter and checked the casting # and date and the engine is original to the car. The transmission is original and so is the 9inch Rear End. The engine is stuck and doesn't turn over. so plan on rebuilding the 351 Windsor engine. With it being just after Christmas. nbsp; I know money is tight. so I'm willing to let someone put a $2. 00 deposit on the car and make payments over a 2 month period. The car will NOT leave until its paid and full. The car is located in Bedford. Virginia about 24 miles East of Roanoke and 24 miles West of Lynchburg. 287 miles East of Knoxville. TN and 136 West of Richmond. I have a friend that works in shipping and can get very good rates on shipping the car through auto transport. He only uses companies that are fully insured. I can also get you a quote for shipping overseas. I can keep the car in the garage for a reasonable time until you make arrangements.
