This is a C Code ‘Stang which means it’s a factory V8 car. This was the first full year for the Mustang. The one we have has been restored a few years back with an engine update 2 years ago. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and driveline of the Ford. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. When you look down the sides it has good lines and the fir on the panels is good. At the time of the resto they installed new bumpers as well as other chrome trim. All the glass looks good as well as the stainless. It has the dual mirror also. The paint is White Pearl that is accented by the black stripes. It’s has a slick finish that is finished off by a set of 14” Ralleys with BFG Tires. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the Coupe. On the inside it’s done in the black and white that complements the exterior perfectly. The seats are the correct buckets that are white with black inserts. The door panels. carpet. and headliner are all black. When you look at the dash it’s all correct. A short under dash console has been added that holds the CD players. They also added a set of aftermarket gauges. The shift is the stock automatic floor shift. Finally. we will take a look at the driveline of the Ford. When you look under the hood it’s powered by a 389 V8 that has been built. It’s borred 30 over with an aftermarket cam. Also it has Aluminum Heads and Intake with a Holley Carb. They also installed chrome valve covers and breather. The exhaust flows thru Headers and dual exhaust. The trans is a C4 automatic that is mated to the 8” Rear End. This Stang has Power Steering and 4 Wheel Drum Brakes. When you look under the floors look solid along with the sub frame front and rear.
