Description for Ford F-100 1948
I am going to describe this truck as best as I can and if you need more information my phone number will be at the bottom of this add. This truck was built over 20 years ago. At that time it was a real show stopper having the roof chopped 3 inches and the doors suicided. The truck is steel and not fiberglass. It is a very good driver now but could stand a little tinkering here and there. With that said if you have looked at the pictures you can see that the drivers seat has a small tear in the leather, The clear coat is coming off the roof which the picture shows, This is what I am talking about when I say it needs tinkering. Nothing major or mechanical, There are also chips in the paint from driving it. If I did not mention these things you would never pick them up in the photos. The frame has had a 1970 Nova front clip added and the rear end is also 1970 nova. It is powered by a GM 350 crate engine with a 350 Turbo Transmission. It has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat and power doors with a remote, Vintage air was added and it blows cold. A ididit tilt column with a stainless banjo wheel was used. The shifter is a Lokar and the wiring harness is Easy Wiring. It also has tinted glass. The tail lights were molded into the tailgate and the bed floor is oak with stainless strips. My reserve is low for this 48 Ford. In today's market if this truck was fresh it would have a 50k price on it. Just the flame work and front and rear Frenching would cost 25k. Again if you have any questions please call me before you bid. 802-309-8264 It is for sale locally so the auction could end at any time. The truck is sold as is and the buyer is responsible for transportation. A $500.00 deposit is required from the winning bidder 24 hours after the auction closes. Thanks for looking. I have the title from the previous owner with a bill of sale assigned to me.
