Description for Ford Fairlane 1959

The car has a 292 V8, 3-speed on the column. The car is in excellent shape for its age. Its the smoothest shifting manual I've ever driven. The brakes have been totally gone through and it stops great. It also steers well and is a very tight car. The gauges work. The gas tank just had a new sending unit put in. Most all the chrome and trim is in unbelievable shape. It has brand new dual exhaust. The car is pretty much rust free. It has been stored inside its whole life. The car is not perfect, however. The seats need recovering and the carpet is very old. The clock doesn't work and the radio doesn't work. The speaker is dry rotted. The car rides and drives well but the engine needs some work. It smokes a lot and I'm sure it could use a rebuild, but the engine is all original.
