You are looking at a Timeless Hard Core Fenderless Hot Rod! This 1931 Ford Pickup has the right "Kustom Kulture Look" built with the best parts available. no expense spared with no corners cut here! It starts. stops. and drives extremely well. with tons of power. It has a fully built period correct 327 SBC V8 matted to a 350 automatic transmission. Gear selection is made with a custom tall shifter on the floor with a vintage glass door knob. Edelbrock Carburetor and matched aluminum manifold. New Chrome water pump. fuel pump. and starter. 12V wiring harness with 80 amp alternator. Chromed Finned Chevrolet Valve covers and 11" Chrome Mushroom style air cleaner. Dual exhaust with Rams Horn manifolds that exit the rear of the bed. Sound awesome! Mustang radiator with fresh fluids keeps this Hot Rod running Cool. The all Steel body and Bed is straight and solid overall (see Pics). Shot years ago in a "School Bus Yellow" recently gone over in a Red Oxide Primer and distressed with brushed and rubbed enamel for a Fauxtina look. It still wears the hand painted name "War Horse" on the cowl. The body has racing provenance but little is known. Late 31 Cowl with a Wide Knox Commercial Bed that has been shortened to fit the trucks porportions. Working tailgate and doors that open and shut. Original 1933 Ford Commercial Grill and 1931 hood flows seamlessly with the body lines. Vintage seat belt hood strap keeps the functioning hood secure. This Hot rod has a safari style glass windshield and plexi back window. side windows not installed or included. Vintage Grape Stake Bed Rails and bed rails are removable and would be perfectly used for business/shop advertisement. The interior Bucket Seats are done in Black Old School 1" Pleated Nylon. very comfortable and durable for all weather (see pics). 1" Ply-wood over the steel custom built floor. Vintage Superior 500 13" steering wheel mated to a Hot Rod column. Stewart Warner & Sun American Gauges. and steel braced aluminum dash. The original Guide 903-J headlights and Model A tail light workThis original Model A frame has been boxed and is a new build with all new pluming and wiring. built to look old and to fit the period correct cab. A lowered ride with spring behind transverse buggy in the rear. 8" Ford rear end with hydraulic drum brakes out of 67 Mustang. Up front we have a I-Beam Front Axel with a rebuilt and reversed aluminum Corvair steering box. New tie rods and ends. shorty shocks. and F100 hydraulic drum brakes. Split Wishbones front and back. The open drive line has a new drive shaft. 6. 00 16" Bias-Ply tires in the front on 5 on 5. 5 Gennie rims. 7. 50 16" Bias-Ply tires in the rear on 5 on 4. 5 Gennie rims with 47 Ford Stainless Caps. Under floor hot rod dual master cylinder. 10 Gallon Model T Tank in the bed and new 12V battery concealed in the cowl behind the dash. This Truck has many new and upgraded parts. Lots of accessories and kustom pieces. . This California truck is registered and titled as a 1931 Ford Commercial Pickup. Visible Vin with California Commercial Plates.
