Mechanical:The engine and transmission appear to be complete I have made no attempt to start the car so I have no idea what the condition is. The car rolls and steers.
Interior:The interior includes all dash trim, front and rear seats, rear arm rests and piston covers but needs to be completley re-upholstered. The sun visors are included.
Body:The floors are rusty but repalcement floors are included... the trunk floor is rusty but a replacement floor is included... the rocker panels are rusty... there is rust in both rear wheel openings but is repairable without replacing the 1/4 panels, the passenger side is not as good as the drivers side ... the front sheet metal is in good condition except for a dented right fender but a replacement fender is included... the frame appears to be good... There a rust spot on the corner of the trunk lid but a replacement trunk lid is included... All convertible specific parts are there including the pinch weld molding and windsheild trim. The rear bumper is included the front bumper is not. There is a soft dent in the right 1/4 panel and some other minor bumps and bruises. The wire wheels are not included it will come with a set of roller wheels and tires. The cowl, firewall, front inner fenders and radiator support are good.
Extra parts included: Left interior floor, right interior floor, trunk floor, right front fender, trunk lid, rear bumper.
History: I bought this car several years ago from a company thats rents cars to movies. It has had a bit of detailing done and a low budget paint job that from a distance looks ok but will need to be redone. These are a good looking car when restored and that was my plan, but other restoration commitments have taken priority.
Overall:This Sunliner needs everything redone but they are a rare valuable car when complete and parts are easy to come by. So if your looking for a projectthat isaffordable that you can build your way, then this may be the car for you. I am offering this car unreserved with a low starting bid because I'm serious about selling it, so please don't bid if you are notcertainyou can complete the sale. The car is being sold on a bill of sale.
Location and Shipping:The car is located in British Columbia Canada about five hours from the Washington border. If a US buyer buys this car I will help with arranging shipping and with the paperwork as I am very familiar with the process. If you are looking for a quote on shipping this takes some time and I will only do this for the winning bidder, however, I can ship the the car to the US border at Blaine Washington for 400.00 and you can arrange the rest or pick it up there. There is a no duty on this car if it is imported to the US. I can store the car at no charge until April 1st if needed.
Payment:I make no exceptions on payment, it is due in full within 5 days of the end of the auction by paying cash in person or by bank wire transfer or e-transfer. No money orders or any other methods will be accepted. I find this is the safest way for both the buyer and me as there is a complete bank record of the transaction. You must contact me for payment information with 24 hours off the end of the auction.
