Description for Ford F-100 1969
1969 F-100 Ranger 390 V8 Automatic. 2V *Rare Factory Ordered Bucket Seats *New Jasper remanufactured C6 Transmission *Cold AC *Power Steering VIN: F10HLE95108 Southern US Truck 109. 00 original miles This is a very unique southern truck with only 109. 00 original miles. When ordered with bucket seats and air conditioning these trucks were rarely used as work vehicles and the condition of this one is testimony to that fact. One look at the original carpet. seats. and bed and you can tell it has never been worked out of. There is not one dent in the bed. Furthermore. I have seen literally hundreds of these trucks on the internet and have only seen two 67-72 F100’s with the bucket seat option; so it is truly a rare truck. It drives smooth down the road with no drift or play in the steering wheel. The new Jasper Remanufactured C6 transmission shifts as it should and downshifts as normal upon acceleration. The bucket seats give you a lot more support than similar trucks with the standard bench seat so it is very comfortable even during long trips. The bucket seats are genuine leather in the center with vinyl on the perimeter areas. These are the exact same seats that were installed in Mustangs of the era. Further proof these seats were ordered from the factory when the truck was ordered is the existence of the factory chrome trim that was mounted directly behind the seats just above the gas tank. I have the original piece that goes behind the driver’s seat (the other side is missing). I have taken pictures showing the trim and the pre drilled holes in the cab that were unique just to trucks ordered with this option. It went through a pretty extensive restoration about 15 years ago. It obviously had a nice paint job. I was told the heads were redone as well at the time but I have no proof of any of the work other than the new Jasper Transmission (with less than 1000 miles and transferable warranty). The fellow I purchased it from had obtained the truck from the elderly original owner who had a complete photo album of the restoration but would not part with it for sentimental reasons so I cannot pass that on to the next owner. However. take a look at these pictures and you will see it is in excellent condition. The glass is all original and still has the Ford markings. I have driven this truck for hours and it runs smoothly and shifts perfectly. The doors and tail gate all open and close with ease and have that solid sound when closing unique to these trucks. All gauges work except the speedometer but all it needs is the plastic gear located behind the cluster. Everything else works: Radio. wipers. all lights and blinkers. The truck is pretty much stock with the exception of cherry bomb type mufflers that exit through a single exhaust. The wheels and hubcaps are original to the truck. I did replace the instrument cluster but have the original one if the purchaser desires to have it. Defects: This is an older restoration. Therefore. the paint has some rust and chips here and there but the truck is very solid. I took pictures of the cab mounts and cab corners to show just how nice the underbody is. The original carpet has fade marks from sun but I wanted to leave it in its present condition so the buyer could see the actual age and patina of the truck. The dash also has a crack on the passenger side. The driver’s bucket seat has some seam separation as shown in the picture but that is the only defect in the seats. The truck handles and drives as new being the best driving and handling F100 I have ever had the pleasure of driving; and I have driven about 15 or so 67-72 F100/250’s over the years so I do know a smooth ride when I experience one. This is the rarest F100 I have ever seen with the bucket seat option. It is not show quality but could be with minor effort. I am not a dealer but do love these trucks and buy and sell them as a hobby. I have sold a few over the years so check my feedback. I am a straight shooter so feel free to give me a call or ask for more pictures. Fly down and drive this rare truck back home with confidence. No one else in the country will have one like it! Thanks for your interest and good luck bidding.
