Description for Ford Mustang 1965
1965 Mustang C code Texas car all its life. Found in an open barn where it had sat for 35+ years. Car does not have much rust, a couple small spots on the floor and really not much more other than surface rust underneath that will clean up.Body; All original panels except front valance. No patches on any panels and none needed. Trunk looks great(just dirty), look at pictures of bottoms of quarters. Fenders look great at bottoms and inner fenders are some of the best I've seen. Passengers door has rust at bottom from leaves setting in it over the years. A rust free complete original door comes with the car.
Drivetrain: Car was an original 289 manual transmission car. Pedals, z bar and all the linkages are still there. A manual tranny was in the trunk and comes with the car. Engine is a 289 hooked to a c6that runs and has new battery, voltage regulator, coil, spark plug wires, plugs and condenser. Front end has disc brakes on it and 4 matching wheels come with the car.
Interior: Looks pretty good, with fold down rear seat, console and dash pad in really good shape.
All in all a great example of a Texas car with minimal rust. Clear Texas title in hand. Door tag reads 63A X D6 21A 61 6 1 5F09C607167.
Thanks for looking

Thanks for all the questions, wanted to answer a few.Car will need gone through to be road worthy. Remember, it's been sitting since the early 80's. Engine does run but car has no exhaust or exhaust manifolds. Car is a great car to restore as there is very little metal work to be done. I have a box of rear seat trim and parts. Side vents are in a box as this car was mainly put together for shipping. I would get the drivetrain straight, put in a 5 speed, some 17" wheels and drive it just like it is but I like cars with patina. This is a restorers dream car so bid to own it.
Have been asked a lot of questions about the transmission. All the manual tranny needs to be hooked up is a bellhousing and clutch assembly. Shifter and all other accessories are present. Also have the original tranny mount with e brake bracket. C6 is just hooked up to engine, it has no speedo cable and is held up there by a fmx, c6 bracket. The floors and bracing HAVE NOT been modified or cut in any way and still look great.
