In August, 1967 a librarian and soon to be single mother sought her independence by buying this 1967 Mustang Coupe as the first major purchase on her own (see photo documentation from the Owner's Manual). I was with Mom at the local Ford dealer in New Jersey when they were trying to unload the '67 models to make room for the soon to arrive '68 models. This was the last (and only)car purchased by that librarian who passed away in 2001, and it has stayed in the family and currently has151,194 miles on the odometer.

This classic Mustang is true to original with its 289 2 BBL Sport Sprint engine andzero power accessories. if you are looking for an original, without the frills of air conditioning, power steering or power brakes, this car is for you.

The exterior has been refinished in areas needed (wheel wells primarily) and the interior has been reconditioned with new leather bucket seats. the dash, flooring and trunk are original.

The engine and transmission have been maintained and are original. The carborateur has been rebuilt as it should have. True to vintage tires have less than 1000 miles on them.

ALL electrical works including horn, turn signal indicators in hood, dome light, license plate light, and back up lights. In the trunk is theoriginal spare tire & jack equipment, and trunk mat lining.Clean and clearNC title in my name.

This rare Mustang was assembled in Ford's Metuchen, NJ plant, and was the 298,750th car off the assembly line.

It is now time for me to hand down this classic one family car to an owner who will cherish this vehicle for the rare beauty she is.
