Black LWB Ford F100. Needs some TLCThe Good:Headliner. Dash. gauges. grill. Bumpers. Door panels. windows. hubcaps. chrome body trim are in great shape. Decent tires. Hood is in good shape. The Bad:Radiator has been "repaired" with some compound but likely leaks. Power steering worked well until I added fluid. Carpet is trash. Seat has multiple splits. There is a lot of play in the steering as the rubber connector has a lot of wear. Heater controls need to be rewired. AC unit was removed. Tailgate latch is disconnected on one side; can close it but will need pliers to reopen. This truck tends to mark its territory with various fluids. The Ugly:Some rust in usual places. Worst part of the rust is front of bed. Bottom of doors. and lower right corner of cab. Both front fenders have rust through behind the trim. Rust in side behind LR tire. Dents in rear window trim. The rest:Engine seems to be in good shape but needs some choke/carb work. Previous owner rebuilt and broke the carb and broke the choke. He put a manual choke on it but used thin brackets so the choke cable didn't work well. Truck has a fairly loud. single exhaust muffler but my son likes it:) Transmission is automatic and shift well. I had to add fluid when I bought it so I'm guessing that some of the fluid on the ground under this truck is red. I've driven it about 10-20 miles several times. I would NOT drive it far in cold weather since the heater blower wiring needs to be redone and is not air tight. Selling only because I bought a 69 SWB. Bill of sale only. I would recommend towing this vehicle if you are going far. Might drive across the country. Might not. Sold as is. Mileage shows 85. 79 but may change if anyone does a test drive. Vehicle for sale or trade locally so auction may end without notice. Vehicle is located 10 minutes off of Interstate 20 near Alabama/Georgia border. This truck needs someone to love it. Someone who is not faint of heart. Someone who likes the big block 351M/400 V-8. Someone who is thinking it needs a crown vic front suspension and a new life as a hot truck. I intended to cut the frame down and buy a new short bed. Instead. I came across a great deal on a 69 f100 SWB and. thus. this one has to go. As is. w/o the new suspension.
