Description for Ford Mustang 1966
Unmolested, as delivered, 66 Mustang Coupe, 289 2V Automatic with Factory Air, Conditioning (all A/C components are there, but I have not tested it. it is original R12), bucket seats, Full length Console and seat belts, 84,000 Miles. No PS and No PB, numbers match, has Protecto Plate dealer info from new, California Car Manufactured in the San Jose Ford Plant. This is a rust free car that spent its entire life in California. It came here when its owner moved to NJ and put it in the garage to be used in good weather. I have some maintenance receipts. The car has all of original sheet metal and from what I can see, has never been in an accident. It also has its original driveline. Ford factory replacement dual exhaust with Ford mufflers. New fuel tank, new radiator and water pump, new shocks, some new front end suspension components (mostly rubber), new front and rear brakes, brake hoses, wheel cylinders and all hardware. 4 new tires, front and rear, new carpet and arm rests. Car runs and drives great! Was repainted back in the 90's paint still looks very good and shiny, but has some flaws for its age and is not perfect. Car was originally light yellow according to the trim numbers. I would rate this car a 7 out of 10, and with a quality repaint; easily moving it up to a 9 out of 10. How often do you find a car of this age with its original driveline and sporting its factory air cleaner, valve covers and hubcaps? You just can't easily find an unmolested survivor anymore!Great car to pick as fun father and son project, keep it original, drive and love it and watch the value go up as you enjoy this timeless classic. I tried to describe this car as accurately as possible, however it is strongly recommended that you review it in person before you bid or make offers. All sales are final, and there is no warrantee.Thank you for looking, please call with any questions: 908 759 5651.On Feb-28-17 at 09:21:07 PST, seller added the following information:
