Description for Ford Crown Victoria 1955
I am also selling a 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria 2dr hardtop. This car was restored in 1979, so it is showing wear. At the time of restoration, the miles were run back to 0. The current mileage is 13923.2, which is the total miles since the restoration. She has the 272 Thunderbird V8 with the 3 speed column shift manual transmission with electric overdrive. It has been converted from a 6 volt to a 12 volt system and front disc brakes. There are tons of spare parts including a spare grill in the trunk and back seat. The wheels are Keystone Classics that are a little pitted. The car runs great and everything was rebuilt at the time of restoration. It has recently had a new fuel tank, new 2bbl carb., and new fuel pump. The Trim Tag/data code plate reads:
Body Color Trim Production Code
64A H M 1B 1005P
The body is 99.9% rust free. Imron paint was used on this car as well. There are a few tiny little pimples under the paint, but it is not rust. Must have been in prep work. Paint is still glossy, but really could use a paint job to be outstanding. The undercarriage is clean and solid. The only thing I see that needs immediate attention is the passenger side door glass is burst, and the driver side seat bottom is torn about 6".
All inspections are welcomed and encouraged either personal or third party before placing a bid. All questions are should be directed to Scotty @601-754-1794. I will also get you in touch with the owner if you prefer.
MS was not a titling state in 1955 thus there is no title. A title can be easily obtained with an insurance bond and a Bill of Sale if you require one. Serious buyers only please . I have a picture file that I can send you if you are a serious buyer. FYI: The light brown color on the undercarriage is not rust just dirt and grime from years of sitting and not being driven very much.
