1970 Ford F-100 short bed fleet side P/U 2wd with the 302 v8, 2bbl, 3 speed column stick shift. Everything is OEM original, or restored back to original.
The truck has a brand new DJM 3" front and 4" rear suspension lowering kit. This is a high quality, fully boxed and powder coated kit that includes drop I-beams, steering arm extensions, rear leaf spring shackle mounts and swing mounts as well as 4 new shocks designed to be used with this kit. This kit is designed so that, once installed, the truck still has it's full OEM suspension travel. (please note that a couple of the chassis pics were taken prior to the installation of the lowering kit).
The wheels are fully restored 15" OEM Ford slotted mags. These 15" size wheels are very rare and originally came as an option on the late '70's XLT Bronco's. The 15" tires are new. The truck has new manual drum brakes and manual steering.
This truck was built in the Kansas City plant and spent most of it's life in the mid west. The body is extremely solid, and the 5 year old body work and paint job is in excellent condition. The under carriage is unrestored, and in excellent original condition, proving that this truck was never abused as many pickup trucks typically were.
The metal portions of the interior were painted at the same time as the exterior and look great. The seat has been reupholstered back to original. The dash pad is in excellent original condition. The engine runs perfect, and the truck drives down the road beautiful, even at highway speed. There are absolutely no vibrations or rattles when you hit bumps, this truck is Amazingly tight! The front and rear drum brakes are all brand new, including the master cylinder, and the truck stops excellent, straight, with absolutely no pulling or pulsing, you'd swear there were disc brakes on the truck. The 2bbl carburetor is new, the radiator is new, and the battery is new. The truck also has brand new dual exhaust. The inside surfaces of the truck bed is basically dent free, showing how little use or abuse this truck ever had. The mileage is 93,000.
