1963 FORD GALAXIE 500 XL Convertible. 352 V8, Automatic, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, Buckets and Console, Clean Missouri Title. Car has been stored inside for years. The Motor has been run for about 60 seconds and sounded well. It didn't smoke or knock. We installed new plugs and points in it. It will need a starter and the fuel system will need cleaned. There is no drive shaft for the car, so the car rolls freely. Brakes work, emergency brake works. The transmission fluid is nice and clean but we don't know how the transmission is.
The body will need lower quarters and work to the outer wheel houses, and trunk drop offs. The doors open and shut like new. There is a bad spot in the frame, but is very repairable. We have a 64 convertible frame available for purchase separately if you need a perfect one. The top frame is nice and clean from what we can see. Pictures of the bottom are included.
Overall this car is a great builder, or put some work in it and drive it.
