1987 Ford F-350 Custom with Dump and Plow

Up for auction is a well used Ford F-350 Custom Cab Dump. 4 wheel drive with 8' Fisher plow. The GOOD- this truck starts and runs and operates. Recent repairs include rebuilt dump cylinder ($175). new exhaust pipe. muffler. tail pipe. Tires are near new on front and about 50% on rear (duals). All glass is good. with streaks on passenger side. The Fisher plow and operating accessories (under hood pump) is complete (up. down. left. right controller on dashboard). The plow shows little use. bottom cutting blade excellent and hinged. The plow has not been installed since I have owned it (about 3 years). I've used the truck to pull around my chipper and haul dirt and wood on the farm. Plow will be loaded in dump body upon pickup. Front seat is covered. Also. recent new rear drive shaft. new electric fuel pump. new right side exhaust manifold and gasket (have new left side exhaust manifold). New shocks front and back. No liquid leaks. New spare 16" M/S tire and rim is included. The BAD- the truck needs some TLC. A good tune-up is due along with carburetor and choke adjustment. What ever happened to a manual choke and throttle???As with every Ford I've owned they start hard but after running about 20 minutes they start immediately and run great. The body has rear cab corner rot but has been reinforced. The undercarriage is flake rusted but only the left front rear spring hanger needs repair. Replacement right and left rocker panels are included. Left fender was replaced and painted. The dump body floor has dents and a couple wear thru spots but does not lose any load. The rear panel (2' by 8') on the dump floor was re-skinned with 1/8" plate. There is some weld patches on the dump rails. The speedometer registers 44. 77 miles but the brake pedal (power) is worn which indicates higher mileage. Gas gauge is sporadic. oil and temperature work. The UGLY- needs additional body work and repaint. but the truck works. Truck is for sale locally so auction may end early. Any questions call John 973-479-3353.
